Why Are Women Freezing Their Eggs

Listen to this podcast by Priscilla Posada in which Yale anthropologist Marcia C. Inhorn discusses egg freezing as a new form of fertility preservation. Prof. Inhorn has conducted a major National Science Foundation funded study of egg freezing in the US and Israel.  She interviewed more than 150 women in the US who froze their eggs, primarily because they were single and unable to find a reproductive partner.
